The Willem Eprom programmer?

Has anyone looked into using the Willem Eprom programmer (www.willem.org) to "fix" a pcm that has been "fried". The list of chips it works with does not speciffically list the AN28F512, but does list 28F512 and AM28F512A. Obviously I don't really know anything about this, just hoping someone could shed some light on this.

Did you buy that programmer?
I found one for $40 + shipping and a $4.00 32 to PLCC32 adapter.
Is this was you bought?

I bought it from Ebay, just search for Willem programmer, it was $65 shipped with that DIP32 to PLCC32 adapter.
