Will tuning fix my 3rd gear lockup issue?

Will tuning fix my 3rd gear lockup issue?

Ok So racing down the quarter mile about halfway through 3rd gear the transmission goes into lockup, Would tuning fix this? I am still on the stock tune right now.

yes, adjusting your TCC converter lockup tables will set the lockup for wherever you want it to be at.

There is a "forced gear lock TCC" value that can be adjusted. A quick look at a couple different LT1 calibrations shows this happens at 100 MPH. This could be disabled by changing it to 255.
