It looks like you are really short on injector. Programming is not going to solve your problem. You can increase fuel pressure but that will affect the whole fuel curve. I guess you could increase FP and then lean out the bottom. According to the datamaster file I think you have a slow O2 on the left side, some knock up to 3.8 deg I think, A maf malfunction and not enough injector to turn past 4600 rpm safely or pull 2nd or 3rd gear wide open. Also the missfire seems to be on the right side. The injectors are definatley work to the fullest but I don't think that is your missfire problem, I think it is ignition related but its just a guess, the injectors are keeping the fuel ratio's pretty decent for as hard as they are working.

If the injector DC is already at 100% then thats all they will ever flow.. no amount of programming will fix that.

^^exactly and if you look sometimes they are as high as 113% How does that work? You want to keep the DC below 80% and that happens at about 4600 according to your datamaster

Re: Will someone take a look at a log for me? .uni Datamaster?

Well to start off with my injector flow rate on my tune was at 25.4 so i changed it back to 24.9 and the WOT % change A/F were really really high so i changed those and it seemed to help A LOT! Before i did that the car would rev past 5500 is would just die! So basically i can't do anything till i get new injectors? And should i not get on it hard? Will is mess something up?!!?

I'll repeat what I told you in another thread.... I seriously doubt that with your mods you are actually seeing a 113% DC on the stock injectors. I think DataMaster produces incorrect numbers. I've been suggesting to people for at least 3 years now that they ought to go back to TTS and ask them to explain how an LT1 with your mods could be making the 450 flywheel HP that it would take to produce a 113% duty cycle with a 24.92#/HR injector. I see these ridiculous numbers coming out of DataMaster all the time. Why not call TTS and ask them?

Are you aware that when you open the ".csv" file, there is no data for the right side O2 sensor?

I don't know why there is no data for the right o2 sensor, i just replaced both about a month ago. I will recheck them to make sure they are connected good! I just wanted to know if it's safe to run the car at the strip this weekend! And if anyone has any suggestions for the tune i would greatly appreciate them! I can post a copy of my tune if anyone wants to take a look, just post here and i'll post a copy!

Why would you want to run it at the track if its missing? Beyond that, it won't hurt anything.... at least from the data log. The left O2 values don't seem to fall off any at 4,600rpm and on up, except for a couple small "one frame" dips to as low as 821mV, but that's how the misifres would show up due to the unused air exiting the exhaust.

A "helpful hint" from the moderator point of view. The board guidelines on "signatures" is 5 lines. You are a bit over that.

Whoops...sorry

So i guess bigger injectors will solve this problem am i correct? Is there anything in the tune i change for the time being to help it run better? Hells sometimes it doesn't even miss...then again most of the time it does!

Depends what's causing the misfire. I'm telling you the duty cycle numbers from DM don't make any sense, but you apparently are disregarding that. You don't have any right bank O2 data, so its impossible to tell what that side of the engine is doing. Can't help you beyond that point.

Are you sure you arent hitting the rev limiter? Thats kinda what it looks like to me anyway. Seems to me youd start getting detonation if the injectors were running the motor a bit lean but I dont see that in the logs.

Re: Will someone take a look at a log for me? .uni Datamaster?

It was skipping before i hit the rev limiter...i bumped it up to 6500 and changed the WOT % change A/F vs. RPM and that helped...it hardly studders anymore! Still gotta get bigger injectors though! Thanks for all the help guys!
