Wideband o2 bung question

I just got an autometer wideband. It has a stainless stell bung and the instructions say to TIG weld it in. A buddy of mine has a good MIG welder, will that be sufficient?

Thanks,
James

Is fine. Mine did not come with directions. Was Arch welded in. Works excellent. Took some time to weld to prevent from overheating and warping though...
