Wide band reading about 1 point off
Wide band reading about 1 point off
My FAST wide band is reading about 1 full point richer than I think the mixture actually is. I think this because:
a) When I installed the new motor, the headers ran red hot on the same tune as the old motor until I richened up the target mixture a full point
b) I always am at least a point richer than the dyno's wide band
c) My stock narrow band O2 never goes stoich unti I get to about 13.5:1
Rather than just dropping $350 for a new sensor, is there any way to recalibrate or clean a wideband? I could just always shoot for 1 point richer than I need to be, but that kind of hack sort of defeats the purpose of going with a wideband: accuracy!
