Where To Find Tuning/Monitoring Software?

Actually I'm not looking to tune anything right now. I need to monitor and track down my problem first, then I'm sure I will need to do some tuning. I already know Tuner Cat makes a program, but what are some of the others? I've heard of a couple more, but just can't think of right now. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Freescan is what I use, it is really helpful, tells you all your basic and a few advanced stuff, allows you to reset idle and BLMs as well.

Is there a company that makes a program comparable to AutoTap for the OBDI cars? Thanks again.

This is what most people use - you have to purchase this however.

I've used it on my OBD-I car. That's what I thought it was for.

Im wondering if that software will read OBD-II codes on other makes like Honda.

I have a OBDI-> OBD II conversion so I have the 95+ ALDL connector....will the cable from AKM cables read that both?
