Where to download tune

I have heard that you can download tunes others have done for their setup that matches yours. Where can I find this?

I have a 97 ss 6speed that i am putting long tube headers and cc306 cam, gmpp 1.6 roller rockers, springs.

Will be swapping in 95 pcm and knock sensor and tuning with tuner cat.

you can look on the forums at monodax.com, also a google search will locate a few other places. I don't recommend doing this however. Your best bet would be to have pcm4less send you a custom tune for your specific mods to start with and then go from there.

Be cautious, it's sort of like downloading anything, you can't trust what you get. If you know enough to verify the tune first then try with caution. I have download quite a few tunes from those sites that were downright wrong. Supposedly modified cam tunes claiming 375 HP that were just about 99.9% stock settings, etc.. etc... If you have TunerCat for OBD1 then just do a search on ' LT1 PCM tuning' and check out the hits.. you can get an emailed load it yourself w/tunercat tune for $65.00 that's customized to your car and has updates based on your feedback.

I used LT1Edit for my OBDII tune. I found it extremely limited in its capabilities, poorly laid out, lacking the 3D graphing it suggested it had, and far too expensive for what you got. Plus I found it poorly supported by the vendor.
I am in the process of converting to OBDI and chose Tunercat. Way more flexible, and actually supported by the vendor.
