Price is $550 plus you'll need a cable. IMO though, worth every penny if you need it.

From their website:
"LS1-edit runs on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows XP and Windows 2000 operating systems. Minimum hardware requirements are a Pentium 200 or AMD processor with at least 32MB RAM."
As you can see from the minimum requirements, you won't need a laptop with all the bells and whistles. Check eBay. You'd be surprised how cheap a laptop that exceeds these requirements can be. Also LS1edit includes a cable. My mistake.

Want it for cheaper.....Get in on a group purchase for the unlimited version. I didnt do it, but sure wish I did. I was a dumbass and wanted it instantly instead of waiting to get a GP going on and bought it for $550. It was worth every penny. However, now I got a fried PCM due to a stupid pet cat playing with the cable while it was programming. Thank god for this board...my PCM would have been screwed if it werent for Madwolf being able to repair it.
