Hey guys,

Its been a while since I had an lt1, but now am waiting for my AKM cable to come in for my '95. I have tunercat, and freescan, but was wondering what is available out there, free or not, to be able to datalog the car real time. Way back when I had my '94, I was a poor kid with no laptop. Now I have a laptop and a bit more money, so no longer need to use my parents desktop.

I mostly use GM Mode 22 scan tool, it can be found here

 

I have not seen that one, but TTS Datamaster is a good one (free for trial).

I finally got all my stuff going on the laptop and tried to use the Scanmaster but it would not let me choose which com port to set it on (need com 4). I did use FreeScan and PCMCOMM for a bit. I don't mind paying for GOOD datalogging software, is Datamaster still top vote? How much?

Another vote for Datamaster here. Andrew (AKM) sells Datamaster as well, for $95USD.
