What is the computer on drivers side frame rail

Just in front of the front sway bar bracket, on the drivers side frame rail, there's a computer that's located behind the plastic splash guard. Is this the air bag computer? The car is a '93 Z.

Thanks,
Frank

Nice hijack. That would be the vacuum reserve tank for the HVAC controls. If you don't need to worry about your controls working at times of low vacuum, then you could remove it.
