need more information. you runing a closed loop tune ?
what mods ? where and what kind of problem are you having?

you wont find much support here for VE tables. I am about the only person that believes they actually effect the engine on a MAF car. ( aside of Joe Overton )

but if you give me some more info I will try and help you.

Hypertech also edits the VE tables rather heavily for the Power performance tune. Though I am not sure what all they do to make it work. I would maybe use them to start with. TC has a feature to Import Table from a different file to exchange with the current open table.

Hypertech does not edit the VE tables. Only spark advance tables.

with a heads and cam car it may not be neccessary to edit your VE tables. Only if you experiencing poor engine running on cold startup. VE tables are usually left alone unless your running an extreme combination or you have cold idle/driving issues.

other than that the PCM can compensate for any minor differences in VE.

no engine is 100% efficient. mine only peaks at 94 in WOT and im FAR from stock. I would leave them alone if you do not know what or how they work. And even then you would need dyno time to even correctly tune the VE tables.

If you are not experiencing any drivability problems I wouldnt touch them. You need to understand that MY combination is very extreme and no MAF tuning would EVER come close to my engines fueling needs. There simply is not enough percision in MAF tables as there are in VE tables.

Sure there are.. that is why people run S/C and turbos!

Schurters LT1,

First off for WOT tuning it is not necessary to touch the VE tables. For WOT you must adjust the Power Enrichment(PE) tables as that is what the computer restorts to for fueling demands. Now a word of caution... my MUST USE A WIDEBAND O2! If you do not use a wideband then you have no idea what the AFR is as a reference to adjust it.

when adjusting wot you use the PE table and the coolant something of wot???? as well right...what you do to one you do to the other...
