Usb and datamaster

Who uses a usb cable and datamaster. What version are of datamaster are you using? I cant seem to get the two to cooperate. I bought the cable from Moates.net and it claims to be compatible with datamaster.

Thanks,
Nick

I have used datamaster and that exact cable. You have to go into the control panel and set the USB adapter to a port that the datamaster program can use. I think I have mine on com2. It was on com14 or some other crazy setting.

First you have to load the drivers from the CD rom.
There are detailed instructions with the cable on the CD rom, you need to make the change with the cable on the computer so it sees it.

Mine is Datamaster version 3.4.1 and the Moates USB cable.

I have also used Datamaster with the moates cable with no issues.

If you have the drivers installed correctly and the right port selected it should work.
