Understanding DataMaster
Hey guys,
Has anyone written or does anyone know of a tutorial or write up that describes what values on Data Master we should be seeing and how to understand the changes that we see when reviewing the playback? I've read through the help file which helps on understanding what each value is but it'd be cool if there was some sort of writeup on, for example, why the LTerm Counts start going up and what it means is going on. I'm not looking to tune my own car, I just would like to understand what's going on when I datalog.
For example, my IA Temp stays at -40. Now I know we have an IAT Sensor so shouldn't this be reading something?

If your IAT is reading -40*, it is indicating an open circuit. You should have a code set for that. Are you sure you aren't mixing IAT up with the oil temp, which does not exist on the F-Body, so shows up as -40* because DM is also used for the Y-Body LT-1, which does have an oil temp sensor.
