Tunning prgram

What's a good Tuning program for the LT-1?

I guess nothing I put on there ... like bigger MAF... bigger injectors ETC will get noticed unless I program the PCM... for them.

And how hard is it to program the PCM?

tunercat.com

you cant put injectors in becuase the pcm has to know how big they are.

and you dont need to change the maf at all. the stocker will handle most all our need, its said to be good to 550rwhp.

Read all you can about tuning. There are volumes to be learned. IMO, you must have a laptop and data logging software to be able to track what you are doing.

Best advice here. Tuning can be a nightmare if you are inexperienced, and it is crucial to watch the net effects of each parameter you tweak.

Hmm... I honestly would had never brought this car if I knew you needed to program damn near everything you add on to it. Not even my Civic was that Bad... What ever happend to just slapping on and Go??? This PCM crap takes the fun out of modding.

Guess I'll buy some rockers instead...

Re: Tunning prgram

What mods do you have done to the car? There is really no need for you to go to bigger injectors unless you have a lot of mods that need the extra fuel, they will give you zero gain.

Any newer car is going to be computer controlled.

Just replace your MAF with another stock unit.
