Tunning My LS1...

Ive got LT's, no cats, 3 inch all the way out with Corsa Catback and a cutout. My car is running like *** right now. There are several people here in town that can tune very very good. all the local LS1 boys have suggested a place that has a mustang dyno and does alot of ford stuff. however everyone that has used him for LS1 tunes say he is very very good and they are very impressed w/ his work. On the other hand, theres another shop that has a dyno jet and the guy specilizes in tunning LS1's. I have heard great things about both places, but more about the place w/ the mustang dyno. So does it really matter where I go? Will I benefit any having it tuned on a dyno jet and not a mustang dyno? Any draw backs to the mustang dyno? Thanks

Re: Tunning My LS1...

The Mustang Dyno is a hell of alot better for tuning on. Pick the tuner that you are most comfortable with, either dyno will do, but you have more to work with using the Mustang or any load capable dyno.
