Unhappy Tunning Help please

O.k. I'm at a loss

I can't get this thing tuned right and I'm starting to get at something I love doing.

What I have is a 383 that I ran for a few yrs and now have made big changes to the whole thing.

Changes made:
190 AFR heads w 64cc chambers
Lazer Cam 226/232 Dur @ .050 .568/.573 Lift w 108* LS w 1.6 Rockers
Cam has 6* Advance ground in when installed straight up like it is.
1.6 Comp Pro Mag full rollers
42lb SVO Injectors

My car is a 93 and I'm using a Moates Burner
Flash & Burn to burn Chip
Chips are 27SF512 and I'm prgming it in the Top half 008000-00FFFF & 000000- 007FFF For the Hex and Buffer
Using Tunner C.A.T.S. for software but also have the Tunner Pro free download.

My problem is is that I cant get the car to Idle

I started with what I had from Ghost Wheel Tech from my previous set up with 24lb Injectors but it was way to rich.
HE never answered my e-mail so I ventured out on my own.
My problem is I don't know if I should change my timing for the advance in the cam or leave it stock?
It started better with an Injector change (42.1) but still won't Idel for me at all.

Can anyone help me figure this out??

Thanks

Re: Tunning Help please

You need to increase the timing advance (set it to low 40s for low MAP values) and the idle rpm to probably at least 900-1000.

Also make sure you have the cubic inches and injector constant set right in the constants.

Also check the IAC counts, that could tell you what the problem is.

Re: Tunning Help please

The cam is made to Idle at 800 but I could increase it.

How do I check the IAC counts? I don't have a cable to hook up to my car, I'm just using my home PC.

It only ask for the CC of one Cylinder wich is 783cc if I remeber right.
383 w 5.7rod = 3.75 stroke

Yeah you need to get some kind of scanner.

news flash a 108lsa cam is not going to idle at 800rpm period. may as well shoot for 1000rpm and cross your fingers.

Where do I do that??
I can bring up 3D tables of anything I want.
I jsut started this and I havent realy done much to the timing at all.
From what I can tell everything is set at the stock seting for the most part.

Re: Tunning Help please

Do I want to change the Volumetric Efficieny vs RPM vs MAP ??

The 1st # in the graph is 46.5 and it goes into the high 80's by 2000 RPM
