Tuning LT1 for no tranny

Can anyone give some insight to what needs to be turned off or edited using tunercat to run a vehicle that has a totally mechanical tranny?

Basically just running a VSS and that's it. No wires are even hooked up to the shifter to indicate what gear (though that could change eventually when I swap to the one I want, for now it's a 3spd B&M shifter)

Starting with a '95 Bbody PCM and a 700r4 incase that matters.

No replies? Is it that easy, or that hard?
No one has setup a th350/glide/etc behind an LT1 <with stock pcm>?

I assume it's just a couple pcm switches to check/uncheck, but wanted some confirmation.

this link states "Yes you can you just have to go into the ECM switch table and turn all the codes off that are coming on."

Just wasn't sure if there were things that might affect it without throwing a trouble code.

Not sure about the B bodies and the 700r4. But in the 4L60E LT1s there is a box checked in the ECM switch table that says "automatic option" just un X that and anything related to TCC. That would be my guess.

Turn off all the codes for the auto trans, and fab up a vehichle speed sensor so it wont always be stuck in the idle cell. There are kits out there to mount the vss to the rear end and yoke back there with premade brackets and signal disks.

The engine doesnt really care what gear its in etc its always just going to take care of the fueling etc. A 6 speed file would work fine too just delete the codes (sound like a broken record).

It DOES have a VSS... but that's the ONLY wires going to it.

Guess I got it all. Just wasn't sure. I flipped through the CATS tuner menu and turned off anything seemed to relate to tranny.
When I datalogged it last night it's not showing any codes, and it is reading MPH, and showing different fuel table cells.

Thanks for the confirmation guys.
