I went to re program tonight, everything went normal until it was finished, then it read . flash memory checksum error, and pcm memory program error(6) , then it read pcm memory aborted, why is it doing this?

 

what version of tunercat are you running?

 

2.00 , I can not read the pcm or reprogram it , was working fine 9 or 10 month's , now this ?

The same thing happened to me security code or somthing anyway....the car did everthing fine start,drive everthing just could not talk to the pcm anyway at all...what happened with mine the secerity for the pcm stayed on some how i asked tuner cat and he said he never say this before(i gave him my file)..ask madwolf if he can or a used pcm...

 

the pcm took the program , but the error code said that it did not , it read the program I was tring to read, but the error code said it did'nt, strange . I have a extra pcm ( from a impala) maybe I can redo all the table's so it will work on mine?
