Re: Tunercat $EE file
yeh I just got mine, I wish they would make their site a bit more modern....It is really unnessisary to have to manually email files to people when the webserver could be setup to automatically redirect you to a download page after making a payment.

BTW, just got mine too

How do I know if my 94 takes the EEB? They said the early 94s take them, but how do I find out? Got a VIN number that would tell me when they used it?
Re: Tunercat $EE file
I dunno, my pcm is a 94 so im wondering the same thing. From what I have read guys who flashed a pcm with the wrong EE file got strange side effects...like rpm and mph gauges not working.
Re: Tunercat $EE file
Quote from TC in email:
"There were a relatively small number of 1994 vehicles that used the early Rev B calibration so you should start out with the standard $EE ECM Definition when working on a vehicle for the first time.
To verify that the calibration isn't a Rev B, select the 'PCM_EE' from the 'ECM' menu to use the $EE ECM Definition File. Then open the calibration file using the 'Open' function from the 'Files' menu or read the calibration from the PCM using the 'Read PCM' selection form the 'Tools' menu.
Next open the 'Constants Table' and look at the values for the Cylinder Volume and Injector Flow Rate parameters. If these values look reasonable, then you are working with a standard $EE ECM Definition File. If you are in fact working with a Rev B calibration, then the values for these parameters will be very strange; the Cylinder Volume is typically 0 and the Injector Flow Rate will be a ridiculously large value like 793.46 lbs/hr.
If it turns out that you are working with a Rev B calibration, then save the calibration file (if you just read the calibration from the PCM) BEFORE making any calibration changes. Click on the 'ECM' menu and select "PCM_EEB' from the list and re-open the calibration file to view and edit the calibration parameters."
There ya go

Re: Tunercat $EE file
After just going through some problems with my PCM ($EEB) I have reflashed it with a non B version and it has been fine. But in my case, the powertrain is not in the origninal car anymore. Don't now if that helps.
