Tuner won't work on my car anymore..

My tuner just called and said my PCM just locked up for the second time and he is giving my car back as well as refunding my money.
What am I gonna do now?

I already tried PCMFORLESS. Bad news there.

This was the only "real" tuner in Tucson/Phoenix.

The car gets KR, alot of it, even at idle. Race gas or regular gas, doesn't make a difference. He brought timng down to 4 degrees total timing, still KR. The BLMs you ask? They're split all to hell, like 121 vs 157. The car has a brand new Optispark, knock sensor, and a new LT4KM. I guess I'll buy another PCM, then LT1 edit for the new PCM and start over.
The guy is gonna send my PCM out for the second time to get repaired(3-4wks) and give it back to me. This PCM has locked up twice in the last month and a half, and before that it locked up in March, all while tuning it. Fixed or not, this PCM is done.

I just had to vent, this cars been a tuning nightmare since the motor got finished in March, I guess its still not over.

Why don't you send the pcm to Ion (madz28.com)? I bet he can have it back to you quicker than 3-4 weeks and while he's got it you can have him do a program for your car. Then if you do buy LT1 Edit or TunerCat you'll have a good base file to start with.

I honestly think the PCM itself is the culprit. When its getting repaired, just the flash chips are getting replaced.

Looking back, I had wierd KR issues with the stock shortblock, powerdyne and an untouched PCM. Tons of KR 1 day, and none at all the next. This was in 110* weather on pump gas and a stock program, no KR, flooring it in 6th gear. EVERYONE gets KR with a blower on a stock PCM/motor.
I now believe not reading knock may have been what killed the stock motor.
I thought it was the knock sensor itself, so I replaced with the new motor.

I could go on all night, I am going to purchase my "new" PCM from madz28.
