Arrow Tuner CATS Help - Simle Question

How do i remove or raise rev limiter in Tuner Cats?

Where might i look to tune the PCM for 93 Octane ?

Can increasing timing hurt car at all ?

Know of any other simple cheap tricks to gain a lil HP ?

The rev limiter is int the fuel cutoff constant tables
The 93 octane is in the tables for "Low Octane......."
The More experienced Tuners will be able to tell you about the timing of an engine and the little easy tricks.
Hope this helps!

If you have any idea how those low octane tables work and which one does what...I'd love to know.
'Cause I have no idea.

I'll try to help you out here, but don't blame me if you accidently blow your engine. The only thing I would say you can change is the timing a little or the rev limiter. Advance the timing too much and it'll just retard on you anyways, and the rev limiter will only hurt you if you go too far over the red line. The rev limiter is listed in 2 different places, one for 1st gear and the other for 2nd-6th. Raise it all the way to get rid fo it. Timing is under the normal and advanced timing tables. I wouldn't modify these tables without a good logging program, so you can see if and where you get knock. Don't go more than 1 or 2 degrees anyways, F-bodies are already tuned pretty good for pump gas. There are no octane tables that I know of, but I have a 94, not a 93. In 94, the octane isn't listed, but the timing tables are what deals with this. You could advance the timing quite a bit if you were running 100 or greater octane, because the higher the octane the less prone it is to detonation, hence the greater amount of timing you can run. But I doubt you want to pay $5 a gallon for high octane, unleaded gasoline. Cheap tricks are many, but you really need to know what you are doing and have a good logging program so you can adjust your tables according. If you are good tuner who knows what he is doing, you can lean out your tables, advance timing in the right places, and tweak things here and there to get maybe 10 to 15 extra HP and TQ out of your car. But I don't recommend it until you know what your doing. It'll take you about 6 months or more to learn what you need. If you want to do everything correctly and not blow your engine in the process. Have fun, it's great knowledge to have if you've got the time to learn.

Without roller rockers, dont rev past 6200 as a safe rule of thumb. You wont be making power anyway, so its no loss.
