trans tuning issue

The factory tables lock up the torque covertor at 40mph at light throttle. Is that when it is locking up during cruising? If so and you dont like it just pay with the mph settings for the different tcc tables.

thanks for helping me, i have to check this one out, i just dont have lockup at any mph in 4th.

also do you think that the temp sensor in the trans will affect the computer in the car and when it shifts too because it reads -40 deg i believe this was a trouble code for the trans. but this has been happening since before the pcm went out to pcm for less.

The temp sensor not working will cause the tranny to use all the cold shift tables. My car will not go into overdrive until the car warms up some. When I leave to go to work in the morning I bet I'm 6-8 miles down the highway before it goes into overdrive. If I start it and drive thru town it is warmed up before I get on the highway and then it locks up fine.

ok still having problems, so far i traced it down to a pressure switch which has the tft sensor in it, my wiring is good going to the trans im going to change the pressure switch and go from there, i also have to shift early from 2 to 3 because i will hit the limiter 1 to 2 is good tho
