tranny not shifting

My tranny will not shift from first to second when the car is warm. I was wondering what type of programing to use and i plan on getting more mods than are in the sig. so i was wondering if there is a program that can be up dated when new mods are installed. Next year i am planning hooker long tubes with y pipe, pulleys, 52mm throttle body, granatelli mass air flow sensor, 3.73s, and a 100 shot NX kit. I just want something to fix the problem it really sucks when i try and race.

thank you,
Brian

Is there any programing so far? If not it sounds like you may have a slipping tranny and may need a rebuild.

the trannsmision is only a few months old and i have only driven the car a few tines. Believe the problem has to do with my stall converter and needs to be reprogramed. I am looking for a good program to fix the problem

How high is your stall? You have OBDI right?
Looks like you have the famous high OBDI stall problem. AFAIK noone has come up with a fix yet.....

well thats really not what i wanted to hear. So there is no fix for the problem at all or just with the OBD 1 computer?

Thanks

Just with the OBDI computer. I have OBDII and have no problems at all. Some guys have better luck than others with OBDI and high stalls. 2800 seems to be the breaking point...

Hopefully an OBDI guy will chip in here soon...

Bryan at PCMforless has figured out the shifting problems with high stall/OBD1.

I have a 3200 and an OBD1 swap programmed by him and no problems.

Might want to look him up.... www.pcmforless.com
