Question Bad MAF?

My car has been running very rich at idle. I scanned it with datamaster and i'm seeing BLM's of 155 on the left and 145 right. It smells like raw fuel and the plugs are carbon fouled. I checked for vacuum leaks before the MAF w/ a vacuum gauge and checked for exhaust leaks before the O2's. I'm now convinced that that is not the problem. I think the MAF is aftermarket, but I can't find any markings on it. It has black plastic maf ends, so maybe it is just the ends that are aftermarket. It is also descreened. When I turn the car off, unplug the maf and start it back up the BLM's look completely different. At idle I am seeing 110 on the left and 108 on the right. Does this sound normal ? Is it an indication of a bad maf?

108 is rich.

You are lean, way lean by blm! And if you smell raw gas you have a problem. Try and chase the ignition side. The only way you are getting unburned gas is if it isn't being burned.

Do all your gaskets to chase an exhaust leak first than check plugs and wires. This should get you lots closer. I had the same problem...after redoing gaskets and redoing wires I found out I really was rich....108 blms. That I could control by programming and I have done so.

i see you have a cam and heads...has your PCM been reprogrammed for them. if not then i think that would be your problem. also..only mentioning idle BLMs isnt saying much. the more you can list off..the better. i am talking which cell you are in and what the R and L terms read.
