Unhappy Tip in problem

What would cause a motor to bog or pop during a rapid tip in of the throttle? I have a tbi 350 that runs very well except when the throttle is applied to quickly. This occurs most often from a standing start or low rpms. It is in a truck and has vortec heads and a small aftermarket truck cam (don't have the specs) with a Jet custom chip. If you apply the throttle smoothly, you do not usually get this problem. When it happens it can actually stall the motor. Could this be a transient fuel problem? Is it EGR? I am wondering if it is something I can fix by burning a new chip.

Thanks,

Don
