is there a way to clear the pcm?

if i disconnected the battery for say 30 minutes, would it clear the pcm memory?

reason i ask is because i was told by a transmission shop that a solenoid was bad in my transmission, so i changed it but its doing the same thing. since that part is controlled by the computer i was wondering if maybe the computer is holding onto a code or sometihng.

You can disconnected the battery or if you wanna make it easier pull the IGN fuse in the fuse box on the driver side of the dash when the door is open.

In a 94 Formula, you pull the "PCM BAT" fuse for 30 seconds.

i had the same problem and it ended up that i needed a new computer. I kept clearing the computer but the problem kept coming back. Which gears are you losing? I lost 1st and 4th when mine would go out.
