Speed signal on 87 truck with LT1 & mech. speedo
Ok here goes,
I put an LT1 into a 87 4x4 chevy truck. It has a mechanical speedometer cable running from the transfer case to the instrument cluster. The problem isn't receiving any speed signal. I want the PCM to operate normally in all BLM cells, and to do that the PCM needs to know how fast the vehicle is going. Is there something out there to do this and still keep the same speedo in the dash?
