Something new in Summit

I was looking through my new summit book and came across this and was wondering what some people thought?

These things are often so misleading. More accurate than a Dynojet...really...

Will give you a readout of your a/f ratio...really. No.

"most powerful 50-state, street-legal power tuning available." Riiiight.

I know it is expensive and it is limited on features but the idea of a small touch screen would be great if you could use programs like autotap and etc. on it with out having to have a laptop in the car.

Re: Something new in Summit

Gosh, I just bought an older laptop (733 Celeron) for 70$ and I could have spent 729$ more for something that won't do near as much. Yeah, I still have to spend another 200-300$ for cable and software but it's still far less than the Hyperpac which just seems like a scantool/G-Tech combination. It's also proprietary hardware/software and won't run any other software on it. I can still play solitare, d/l digital pics from my camera, write my life story, etc. while cooling down between runs.

Re: Something new in Summit

I wonder if you could find a way to hook a touch screen monitor to a laptop and have a way to do everything with the laptop maybe hid in the trunck or something??

It also kinda sounds a little ricer if you were to hide the laptop and everything. Just an idea though.
