Software for scanning your LT1

I'm really into computers and I own a LT1. I want to get into scanning and adjusting. What software can you run on a 97 LT1? What is the easiest and affordable software? What cable can I buy?

Thanks

For scanning, any good OBD-II software will work. AutoTap has a very good setup. Make sure the software you select has "GM enhanced" capabilities. The software will usually come with the correct cable.

For tuning in OBD-II, you can use the OBD-II version of LT1_Edit, or the OBD-II version of TunerCat, which was sold to JET and now sold under their name.
