Software

What's the best tuning software available? By best I mean easiest to use and understand and has the most options. I'm not really familiar with them but I have a friend who will help me tune my car. Also does their need to be different software for multiple cars? Will OBD1 and OBD2 be compatible? And finally where is the best place to buy it? I know I asked a lot of noob questions there but I can't find the answers I'm looking for anywhere. I thought I'd ask some people with a little more experience. Thanks a lot.

Re: Software

For your model year the choice is between Tunercat and LT1edit.. nothing more.

My reasoning for going with Tunercat is its considerably cheaper, can tune multiple cars instead of only 1 and has unlimited free updates forever. And then Ive realized they also have decent customer service. Ive never used LT1edit so I cant really speak for it but now at least you can narrow your search criteria. This question has been asked about as many times as people ask what headers to get or is the LS1 > LT1... youll find plenty of info is all Im saying.
