Should i switch to OBD1? What will it do for me?

I can get a 95 computer from my friends firebird and it already has Lt1_edit. I dont plan on doing any major mods, probably just gears, headers and CAI. Should i go ahead and do the conversion, or should i just get a HPP+ to make all the basic settings changes, such as speedo, and fan temps?

With the OBD1 will i still need the rear O2 sensors?

I'm pretty sure you need two O2 inputs however I think you can use O2 sims in their place.

With OBD1 you do not need the 2 O2 sensors after the cats.

No, they are before the cat, at least they are on my car. When one went bad it ran like dirt so that's why I figured you would need them.

He has a 97 OBD2 car. There are 4 O2 sensors, 2 on the manifolds and 2 after the cats. Also you can reprogram your OBD2 to delete the rear O2's.
