Should I get a new ignition before tuning?

Finally found someone to dyno tune my '87 TPI. Thanks to Mdacton and SS RRR.

Just wondering if I should get a 6AL or digital ignition before I get my car dyno tuned?

I don't know if it will make a difference or not.

If you're talking about your camaro with the crate engine the hei stuff will handle whatever your car needs pretty well for max power.

The only thing I can say is that with a hotter multiple spark if you get it part throttle tuned it may tolorate leaner mixtures at cruise before you get lean misfire, but that is probably only going to happen if you open the plug gaps up a bit.
