Security light on

Ive got a 95 z28 lt1 6speed and the security lights been on for a week and still continued to start. Went to start it on morning and it cranks over fine but doesnt fire. Ive been reading up on the vats system aswell as the tdm. But my fuel pump turns on and it cranks but still, wont start. Can the tdm cut out the spark to???

VATS kills injector pulse, so fix that first.

Re: Security light on

I thought a blinking "SECURITY" light indicated VATS was not allowing the engine to start. Then the light turns solid when there is a failure while driving, to alert you to the failure, and to indicate that the engine can still be started, until the VATS fault is repaired.
