SD Mode and Fuel Trim

Car: 1996 3.8L Camaro

Speed Density mode enabled; the computer ignores the 02 sensors.

The 02 sensors will still produce an output.

The question is:

Will the Air/Fuel ratio be adjusted via short, or long term trim immediately

or

Will the computer learn over time and adjust ratios as the computer goes
into SD mode again?

I'm thinking the latter. From what I understand the fuel tables in SD mode
use the MAP sensor and RPM to determine AFR. I don't believe there is any
instant correction for fuel ratio.

Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks!
