Scanned PCM quick?

Scanned car for first time using freescan. I have no idea how to interpret most of what it is telling me. The only trouble code I got was code 18 something like not functioing or not active I'm not sure, anyone have idea what this might be?

Re: Scanned PCM quick?

DTC 18 is fuel injector circuits. One of your injectors has a problem, either in the coil on the injector, or in the wire controlling it.

For interpreting the data from your log:

Re: Scanned PCM quick?

Thanks injuneer. How do I fix this? Could it be bad injector or is it wiring? If it is wiring what do I do run new wires to the bad injector. I know for sure cyl7 is not getting gas and I think cyl3 may not be getting quite enough. I know this by feeling the injector plug for any ticks or pulses. All the others seem fine.

Re: Scanned PCM quick?

DTC 18 simply checks for the continuity of the circuit to each injector. It can't determine if its a wiring problem or an injector problem, and niether can anyone else based on the code alone. You need to get an injector checking tool, commonly called a "noid light" and make sure each injector is getting the ground signal from the PCM required to fire it.
