scanmaster or datamaster?

scanmaster seems to be a self contained unit, but datamaster runs on a laptop. Both do the same thing correct...otherwise what are the differences? Or is datamaster more versitile because it runs on a laptop?

Scanmaster doesn't log information like Datamaster does. IMHO, Datamaster is a must have tool for anyone wanting to tune or diagnose their vehicle. Scanmaster is nice, as well, because it still gives you the values from the sensors but is compact. I chose a Datamaster, because I do my own tuning and like the logging function.
