Scan9495 data log help

I ran this data log using scan9495 but now that I have it I don't know enough to know what to look for. This was run on my 93 Corvette LT1.
The problem I am having is it starts fine when cold, 1/2 crank and it starts. I run it until its completely warmed up and when I shut it off
it will restart perfect up to 20 minutes, after that, it takes 4 or more seconds to start. However; if I floor the accelerator it will start perfectly.
I thought my problem was leaking injectors so I sent them to FIC and had them rebuilt. That did not fix the problem, so I bought a
cable and downloaded the SCAN9495 and created a data log. Can someone on here look at this log and tell me if they see anything
that may be causing my problem. The log starts just before I started a cold engine, I let it run at idle until it reached 200 degrees and
shut it off. I waited 25 minutes and restarted the log and tried to start the car. After a couple of seconds, I turned it off. So, really if
there is a problem it should be in the last few seconds of the log where it won't restart like it should. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Re: Scan9495 data log help

Downloaded and took a quick look. I have never seen a log from a Y-Body before. This has obvious errors, with whole lines or parts of lines of data showing impossible numbers. At one point it tells us there are 29 DTC's, and lists them all. I doubt Gary had access to a Y-Body, with the significant differences from the F-Body. I know he had access to a 93 F-Body, and the logs I have reviewed from 93 F-Bodies have been rational. When you shut the engine down, and tried to restart it, there are gaps between lines of data that i have never seem occur before.

I have the Y-Body ECM diagrams, and there are additional systems interfaced with the ECM that do not exist in the F-Body. May be interference from the additional data being transmitted.

I'll take a further look to see if I can salvage anything, and will ask GaryDoug what he thinks the problem is.

Re: Scan9495 data log help

The Y-car has always been a problem for me. It has the extra chassis module that I can't seem to make quiet and that gets in the way of the scan of the PCM. If you look at everything using the chart display it may be more help as you can ignore the spikes in the data and see the overall trends. The chart however can only display 4 parameters at a time.

***Ignore the following. It looks like the 93 Y-car data is different from the 94/95, so that wont work*******
**** I did make a special version for the 94/95 Y-car but I never did anything for the 92/93.******

Before that though, let's try using the Y-car version here. It may work a bit better IF he is not already using it.

Thank you Injuneer, I appreciate any help you can give me. I thought maybe the ECT sensor was bad but the readings look good. According to my FSM when you start the engine the computer only looks at the ECT sensor, MAP sensor, and the TP sensor to determine the air/fuel ratio to start the engine.

I'll try to “read between the lines”, so to speak, of the Excel version I usually set up to view and manipulate the data.

I seriously doubt that will work, but it doesn't cost anything to try.
