?s on making a OBD1 scan tool connect to my OBD2 connector (95Z)

I saw on shoebox's site that a OBD 1 scan tool can be made to work on the 95 connector. Just wondering if there's any walkthrough's or write ups about how to do it, it looks easy, just want to use the correct wires, etc.

Thanks,
Keith

AKM sells cables and tells you how to build them

For the work involved in building them and the risk of screwing something up vs their cost.... I just bought one from him

That is all there is to it. I think I might have used pieces of a heavy duty paper clip and soldered them onto the end of the wires (something that would fit snugly in the DLC).

A real adapter would be nice, though.
