RT tuning a 93 pcm, then flashing a flash prom
RT tuning a 93 pcm, then flashing a flash prom
i know that the 93 pcm has a chip, and no maf, but could you put in a 93 pcm use RT tunercat to tune and save the file when you get it where you want it. then put it the flashable pcm the flash it. and the next time you need to tune could you put the 93 pcm in, crank the car and load the file. since its real time tuning wont the romulator send the file to the pcm to be emulated and run like you had the other pcm in the car. and make more changes and do the prosses again.

You can't use a 93 ECM in a 94-97 car. It has totally different connectors and different wiring.
Even if you could do that, the files are not compatible.
I'm also not sure if RT tuner works on 93s.

Ion you can use the Romulator 2 on the 93 LT1 cars. It will also work on all GM Trucks using the 512k chips.
Re: RT tuning a 93 pcm, then flashing a flash prom
i trust what you say ion but, if the romulator will emulate the tune into and though the 93 pcm (for RT tuning). then you could save the file and load the other pcm.
Re: RT tuning a 93 pcm, then flashing a flash prom
so if i import all the tables to the 93 file and run it using RT tuning, then make adjustments and save them, then import all my changes to the flashable file (128), then load it.
ok im just asking because i dont. but i would love to find a way to rt tune, because i was doing some torqe convertor stuff this weekend and it was a pain in the but, to reload a file all the time. plus if i could do it this way it would decrease the risk of loosing a pcm, if i could make asjustments with rt tunig while driving around, then load one file when it rights
when will they come out with rt tunig for the flash prom.
