i have downloaded the trial version of tunercats flashrom program. i have the *.bin file from my PCM but i can not get any of the other tunercat demo programs to open so i can view my trouble codes. Freescan used to work and now i get nothing, see freescan log below. i can email someone my bin file if they can tell me the trouble codes! before my only code that was throwing the SES light was my knock sensor. Put in a new sensor and tested everything 5 volts and the omhs are right. I was thinking maybe i needed to clear the codes out and start the engine back up. Any help would be great as i need to get my car back on the road ASAP!

(i do have a PCMforless tune coming for my new gears but i still need to see the trouble codes)

The .bin file is the programming. No trouble codes are stored in it.

 

crap...well i will need to try again. Do you know which CATS program will work for scanning trouble codes? or any other that support a 95LT1?

Freescan. It is free. No CATS program does that. Or TTS Datamaster. Free 20 uses or something.
