Quick low oil level sensor question please...

Due to a long tube install with a Canton oil pan, I have a clearence issue between the passenger side header and the sensor in the side of the pan, so i'll need to remove it permenantly and plug the hole. If the sensor is just disconnected, does anybody know if it will light a check engine light and if so, is there a way to defeat it or turn it off in Tunercat? Input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just short the pins in the connector and the lamp will stay off.

Shoe is right as normal. I just cut the connector and wired the two wires together.

There is an option to turn off the light in tunerCATS but it doesnt work
