Post Quick FreeScan Question

I've got FreeScan working to read my engine values realtime, but when I try to log to a csv file, it creates a file that has many lines (as long as I leave it logging), but the values are the same on every line. Am I missing something?

I'm going to the track tomorrow and would really like to log some runs.

Thanks,
Mark

Your using excel or something to view the file right? Scroll down and as long as you were pushing the pedal some of the values changed (like rpm or time anyway).

Yes, I was using Excel to view the file... but I captured over 400 rows of data, and every value in every cell was exactly the same (and, yes, I was revving the engine). I guess I'm stuck!

Update: I just compared two of the files I captured, and not only is every row identical, but the values in the two files are identical as well! What's going on?

Help!

Thanks,
Mark

Anybody ever figure out what the problem was? It sounds exactly like the problem I am having.

Try logging for 5-10 minutes... Take the car for a spin if you can so you can get some good valid data.

I've seen hundreds of rows pretty much exactly the same as the car just sits idling... But I would think if you guys are at least rev'ing the data should change a bit

We tried both ways....driving down road for a few minutes and sitting idling for a bit, but rev'ing the motor.
