question about tuning?

Okay the cam in my car has always been running a little rough on cold starts stalling before the car warms up. But recently I capped my cutout (car was tuned with cutout open) for a week. I uncapped my cutout and now my car is really giving me a horrible time on cold starts. It takes 3-4 tries to start and has bad surging and stalls out constantly for about 10 mins. After that its fine. Do you think messing with the air fuel ratio by capping the cutout for that long hurt it? Or is there another problem. I mean it was always running a little worse on cold starts than a cammed car should but now its ridiculously bad. Before it was tolerable since it would always start on the first try and with about 10-45 secs warming up it was fine but now its just embarrasing. It doesnt start on first try and takes a really long time to start running normal.

Try doing a reset on the computer. It won't ruin your tune or anything. It'll just return the fuel trims and such to zero.

What kind of thermostat do you have? That might also be part of this. In the cold, a 180 degree is a better idea. I would talk to the people who tuned your car to see about the problem, because I would be annoyed if my car stalled at all.
