Question about Pulling Codes on a 1994 Z28

Can the code be pulled but just shorting 'B' to ground ('A')?
When I tried that and turned the key on, my light went off and I heard my fans turn on.
I cant seem to pull the code.
Am I doing it wrong?
Or is something wrong with my PCM?
Or is it not possible on this year?

You need a scanner, '93 was the last year you could jumper A and B to flash the codes.

I don't know if the ALDL plugs are the same. But, on a 94 LT1 Vette you can jump these two pins to pull codes.

Can't be done on a 1994 f-body. As already stated, 1993 was the last year. Not even sure how it could be done on a 'vette, since they use the same computers.
