pulling codes on a 1994 Z28???

How do I pull codes on this car? I have an OBD-II scanner but wont fit the plug under the dash. The old fashioned one wont work either. Is there a special scan tool?

A normal OBD-I scanner with 12 pin cable should work.

You might want to add a "signature" with basic info about your car, so you don't forget to mention basic info, like you did on the post in "LT1/LT4 Engine Tech".

What is an "old fashioned one"? Do you mean something like the $30 Actron that pulls the codes by shorting the ALDL pins, and flashing the codes on the SES light? The last year that worked on an LT1 was 1993.

Go to Autoxray's site and look for an OBDI scan tool or code puller.
