Problems with my tune (FAST)

1.) there is a slight stumble when I give it a little gas. If I get on it hard, it'll get right up and move. But if I simulate a passing situation and lightly roll on to the gas, it'll stumble and get back up and go.

2.) when driving at a constant speed (in 2nd or 3rd, only two gears I checked) at around 2000 RPM, the car seems to cycle between running good for 3.5 seconds and trying to die. It's not major at all. You can only tell if you "feel" the car... Meaning, I can feel my self leaning forward a little bit. Certaily not a big deal.

3.) I have my VE table values at some unusual levels. Most of them are 75-85 and a few at 95-105. NOTE: this is all at atmosphereic levels or below! I haven't even gotten into the boost tuning yet.

Any ideas?

UPDATE:
I'll take some logs today and get them out to those that requested them.

another problem:
4.) If I tap the gas or hold the throttle at a given RPM and let off quickly, the car will drop RPM's, stumble a bit, and get back up. Most of the time it doesn't die, but that happens sometimes. I'm assuming this is a "throttle follower" or a "MAP rate of change" problem as well.

Are you doing any logging? Do you have access to a Wide Band setup. Sounds like fueling is off. Running Closed Loop or Open?

Yes, have a log that is 30 minutes long. Logged it on the way home from the initial tune.

I have an onboard WBO2

Closed loop starts 10 seconds after start-up.

Jesse.

I don't think you need a log that long. I log for maybe 2 mins when tuning for driveability and about 30 secs when powering through the gears.

As you indicated, the VE numbers seem to suggets a rich condition. It cruise speed,my cells are 45 - 55. In fact at WOT with the blower I'm only at about 91.

If you want, send me the tune and the log. I'm certainly not an expert but I have learnt a little over the last year and might be able to help.

I would suggest that you want to play with the "AE vs throttle position rate of change%" and possibly the "AE vs MAP rate of change %". Sounds like it is too rich so bring the curves down on the left hand side of the graph.

Your o2's are not doing what they should at that point.
