please help senser losing vacume

Unhappy please help senser losing vacume

my car is running like crap.so i heard a vacume leak so i looked for it and found one but its comming from the bottom of a senser.i have no clue what the senser is.its back on the intake on the drivers side near the number 5 and number 7 injecters.it as two vac lines going to it.so does this mean its bad or is it made to do that

Do you possibly mean the EGR vacuum solenoid? Its behind the #7 injector, but there's nothing located between #5 and #7. It shouldn't be leaking. Check the hoses.

I'm assuming from you screen name that you are talking about a 95 LT1.... you might want to add a "signature" with basic info about your car like year, trans type, and major mods, so people can help you easier.

This photo on Shoebox's page shows the EGR components. If its not the EGR solenoid that you are talking about, maybe you could explain where it is in the photo.

thats the one its leaking vacume out the bottom.i had my egr valve removed from the car and computer.

If you don't have an EGR valve, you don't need any of the other parts. Didn't you plug the vacuum lines when you removed the EGR valve? The vacuum lines and the solenoid can be removed. Just put a vacuum cap over the nipple on the side of the intake manifold.

When they did the PCM, did they also "program out" the diagnostic for the solenoid? If not, you will have to put a resistor in the harness connector to prevent a code for the missing solenoid.
