PCM question

I got a bunch of stuff done to the z but i never got around to getting it tuned. This paycheck i was planning on buying an extra ecu and getting it tune by pcmforless.com. Does anyone know if they offer purchasing an ecu from them that is already programmed? or do i need to find one and then send it to them. Also can a 6 speed ecu from a 94 z28 be used for an a4? Last question is will the tune fix the car lurching forward at lights? i heard it will help the car idle better besides the obvious power gains, which im interested in but mainly would like the tune so the car runs smoother (mainly the lurching at lights). Any advise and knowledge would be greatly appreciated

Re: PCM question

A tune can probably fix your "lurching" problem. Also, from what I remember, you can pay a deposit and have PCMforless send you a computer with the tune. Then, you send them yours and you get your deposit back. And yes, a 6 speed ECU can be used in an A4, but it has to be programmed for an automatic first. Hope this helps.
