Question DataMaster Question

I have tried to search and call around to find an answer for my question and nothing turned up. So, I'll post and see what happens.

On the TTPowerSystems website, it cleary says under the DataMaster Key Features list that the software has a "Graphical display of DTC (malfunction) codes along with description information," as well as "Allows clearing engine and/or transmission malfunction codes on most models." What I need to know is if my car falls under the "most models" catagorey when it comes to clearing the codes. I know it will tell me what code the computer is throwing, but I want to be able to clear the codes. Thanks for the help.

Thumbs up Re: DataMaster Question

Allright. Now after I'd posted someone from TTPowerSystems called me back and said that the reason it says it will clear codes on most vehicles is that GM did something weird with the computers in a lot of vehicles and that some computers will allow you to clear it with DataMaster and some won't. Has anyone ever heard of someone not being able to clear a code with DataMaster? Thanks for the help.

Re: DataMaster Question

I've never had a problem with Datamaster clearing a code.
