when you turn on the key theres 2 things that are a dead give away if the PCM is fried... 1. the fans come on and 2. the SES light is illuminated and/or flashing

You was proabably doing a "read" when this happened right? Be sure you have the latest Tuner Cat software. It should be version 2.0 right now. Version 1.97 had a bad problem with EE files so be sure you have the latest software.
